Royal Enfield Himalayan 2021 Launched; Prices, 6 Colors.

      The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan was recently launched in the Indian market. The adventure tourer has received a few significant changes including two new colour schemes. However, the engine setup remains intact. The updated Royal Enfield Himalayan uses the same BS6-compliant, 411cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine with a 5-speed gearbox. The motor pushes out a peak power of 24.3bhp and 32Nm of torque.

      The model continues to feature telescopic front forks and pre-load adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. Braking duties are done by the same front and rear disc brakes, which are further assisted by dual-channel ABS. The updated RE Himalayan rides on the 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels.

1. Tripper Navigation

                                        Similar to the RE Meteor 350, the new RE Himalayan gets Tripper navigation system placed next to the digital analog instrument console. It’s a Google-powered turn-by-turn navigation system that works after paring the smartphone installed Royal Enfield app via Bluetooth. However, the display doesn’t show incoming calls and massages. 2. Design Upgrades

                                   The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan comes with a taller windshield, new tan-coloured seat and blacked out heat shield for the exhaust. The metal frame has been slightly moved towards the front of the tank. The repositioning prevents knees contact of taller riders at corners.

3. New Colours

                        As mentioned above, the new Himalayan has been offered in two new paint schemes – Pine Green and Granite Black. 4. Increased Prices

                            Compared to the previous model, the updated Himalayan is around Rs 10,000 more expensive. The Mirage Silver and Gravel Grey painted models have been priced at Rs 2.36 lakh, while the Lake Blue and Rock Red shades cost Rs 2.40 lakh. The new Pine Green and Granite Black colour variants have been made available at Rs 2.44 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
